Our recent family dinner at Mill Valley Kitchen was absolutely wonderful! Everything from the locally sourced, fresh food to the incredibly warm and welcoming staff made the evening feel special. The space itself is beautifully decorated, with a comfortable and inviting ambiance that’s perfect for a relaxed meal. We also learned they have a private room for events, a great feature to keep in mind! Practical perks like their own parking are a huge plus, and we love that they cover everything from lunch and happy hour to weekend brunch and dinner. Finding a family-friendly spot with such quality is a treat, especially with kids eating free on Sundays. If you’re looking for delicious food in a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, we can’t recommend Mill Valley Kitchen enough. We’ll definitely be back!

It's always exciting to find a new jewel in your own backyard. The eclectic mix of cool tiles, warm woods and tropical plants was relaxing and inviting. Our server, Fauna was delightfully attentive and a true gem. I was looking for a lunch spot that would meet the dietary restrictions of a couple of friends and I struck gold. Not only did the menu meet thier needs, (which I would love to emulate one day) but the meals were delicious and full-flavored. The wild mushroom flatbread is a keeper. Highly recommend!

We had impeccable service for dinner and drinks this evening from Edith in the bar. The manager Anwar came over to greet us and we were treated like gold. If you aren’t frequenting Mill Valley, you haven’t lived!

This is such a cute little cozy restaurant. Love the decor and vibe and their menu is on point. The service is professional and fun! I wish I could clone this place and put it by my house! So so good.

Awesome. This place had such great service right from the beginning that I was so impressed. I forget our server's name but he was one of the best Ive had ever. He was quick, funny, attentive but not in a lingering way. You could tell that the culture of this business was very good just by how happy staff were to be there. The food was exceptional. I'm picky (probably too picky) I got the white sea bass and it was perfect. Highly recommend this establishment.

Mill Valley Kitchen: My Go-To Happy Hour Spot with Farm-Fresh Flavors & Cozy Vibes If you’ve never been to Mill Valley Kitchen in St. Louis Park, stop what you’re doing and go. I’ve been here many times—for birthdays, casual dinners, and of course, happy hour—and each visit just reinforces why this spot is one of my local faves. Let’s talk about my most recent happy hour adventure. First off, the mussels. Oh. My. Gosh. They come swimming in this rich, flavorful broth that just begs to be soaked up with some grilled baguette. Pro tip: order extra bread. Trust me—you’ll want to mop up every last drop. Next up: the wings. These aren’t your average bar wings. They come with a tangy sauce, crave-worthy sauce that hits all the right notes—sweet, spicy, and just messy enough to feel like a good time. Pair that with their salmon sliders (yes, they’re as amazing as they sound) and you’ve got yourself a winning combo. Now, let’s talk shrimp tacos. Perfectly grilled shrimp, fresh toppings, all wrapped up in a soft shell—these were absolutely packed with flavor. I could have eaten three more and still wanted more! And while I’m not usually one for falafel, Mill Valley might’ve just changed my mind. Their new happy hour version had my vegan friend absolutely glowing—and after sneaking a bite (okay, maybe two), I can confirm: not dry, not bland. Just straight-up delicious. The dessert shots here? To. Die. For. Just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without going overboard. Whether it’s the chocolate mousse, lemon curd, or whatever seasonal treat they’ve got going—don’t skip dessert. You’ll thank me later. The ambiance here is a whole vibe. Cozy interiors with chic, modern decor that screams relaxed sophistication. And the patio? Tucked away from the road, it’s peaceful and private—none of that loud, traffic-filled outdoor dining you get elsewhere. I do have one teeny-tiny complaint: they’ve taken the flatbreads off the happy hour menu. I miss them deeply. But wi

I love the interior design, service, and food at this establishment. I also appreciate the interesting menu selections, which offer more variety than other spots in St Louis Park. This is a great place for a date, a girls' brunch, or even a corporate meeting. My mom orders the duck sandwich, which unfortunately is not on the menu anymore. She tried the Kimchi bowl and enjoyed it. I can't resist the chicken Mediterranean wrap—the chicken is such great quality, and they're really generous with the portion size! I also recommend the ratatouille, chicken wings, fresh espresso martini, and hummus platter.

Best mussels in the TwinCities! The recent flavor is harissa chorizo. The waygu sliders are great as well. Hit up Samara at the bar for a top shelf margarita. Yum!!!

Made our first visit to this Rochester location of MVK. Lovely, open dining room that is very comfortable. Our waiter Terrence was great, he seemed deal very well with a “ high maintenance “customers seated nearby. The biggest draw is the food. I loved the Sea bass and my husband raved about the shrimp tacos. This will be our “ go to “ place in future visits to Rochester,

Went to Mill Valley Kitchen for our anniversary and it was a great pick. Started with the shrimp cocktail, then split the miso glazed seabass and the roasted half chicken — both beautifully plated and cooked just right. You can tell the ingredients are genuinely fresh, and the California-inspired menu feels light without skimping on flavor. The wine list leans heavily into Napa and Sonoma, which was a nice touch. Cozy but polished atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Service was warm and attentive the whole evening. Finished with a shared dessert and left very happy.
